Review by hotel critic
Piya Sport Hotel is a solid choice for those exploring Istanbul, especially if you're after both convenience and comfort. With a prime location nestled between Aksaray metro and the Grand Bazaar, you're well-placed for sightseeing. The rooms, while compact, are modern and clean, offering a refreshing tropical shower and well-implemented air conditioning-quite essential when the temperatures soar above 36°C. The staff, particularly Cumali at reception, is approachable and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast hall provides a remarkable view of the Sea of Marmara, and the buffet spread is extensive and fresh, making it a highlight of the day. On the value front, Piya Sport offers amenities like free Wi-Fi, a bar/lounge area, and 24-hour reception services. This mix of luxury and practicality makes it a wise choice for travelers who appreciate great location without stretching the budget too much. If you're weighing options, this hotel provides a balanced experience worth considering.
